Karanastic Mixtapes & Albums

I’ve been rapping since my mid-teens and now I’m like mid-thirty. That means there are a decent amount of mixtapes containing this unique flavor of independent rap music.  These were all written, recorded, mixed and edited in my home studio in somewhere America.

A good variety of music to listen to in here. I’ve done concept stuff, such as making an album about being a super villain with a knack for conspiracy theories, to making another one only containing tv-show and pop culture themed songs. Some normal stuff in there too, so don’t worry.

All of the mixtapes below are available to stream in their entirety for free. Most of them are free to download as well. If you think these albums (or mixtapes as the kids call them) are as badass as I think they are, you can buy them on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, or anywhere else people are buying music these days.

The UpsideDown

A dark and cynical project sprinkled with some laughter and nonsense. The UpsideDown unleashed a rap beast to claw and slash up the rap game. Trap style beats and lyrics created by a mad man to expose the world to information that may or may not be factually true. Bong smoke clouds this record and we about to Turn Up and get down with some real music created in 2020.

The Supervillain Evildoer EP

This is a 5 track EP that hits super hard in the rap department. The overarching themes are conspiracy related, however the album was written from the perspective of me being a super villain in the comic book world. Well, really more of a blend because this universe seems out of this world at times.

Self Titled – Karanastic

This is an amazing collection of songs I recorded over a couple year span. Songs I am quite proud of.  The reason I put them all together was because they were the only ones that I was legally allowed to because of production licenses! That’s just a little behind the curtain talk for you. Anyhow, I think you’ll enjoy this variety of songs that are quintessential Karanastic.

The Internet’s Best Mixtape – Volume 2

The second offering in the Internet’s Best Mixtape series. This one has some classic tracks on it for sure. I rap over the “Shook Ones” beat in 4 minutes of fury. Speaking of which, there is a track called “Write With Fury” that I recorded while half-drunk. You can’t miss out on the opening track where I rhyme over a “Rising Sun” instrumental and kill it. Don’t take my word for it though…

The Internet’s Nerdiest Rapper

This is one rap album that lives up to it’s name! If you want to hear songs about Ninja Turtles, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout 4, or the Angry Video Game Nerd, then this album will be right up your alley. Pretty niche indeed, but if you live in the modern world, you should like at least one. And I hand sewed the costume you see on the album cover and wore it at the San Diego Comic Con.
